Açaí Bowl
Thick, frozen açaí smoothie bowl topped with fresh fruit and crunchy granola

Açaí bowls are thick, frosty smoothie bowls with a base of frozen açaí berries blended into a sorbet-like consistency. The key is making the base thick enough to eat with a spoon — this is not a drinkable smoothie.
Frozen açaí packets are the secret. Blend with just enough liquid to get the blender moving, but keep it as thick as possible.
The toppings make it special — fresh berries, sliced banana, crunchy granola, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey.
Ingredients
- 2 packets frozen açaí purée (unsweetened)
- 1 large frozen banana
- 1/4 cup juice or almond milk
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1/2 cup granola for topping
- 1/2 cup fresh berries for topping
- 1 tbsp honey or agave
- 2 tbsp coconut flakes
Instructions
- 1
Break frozen açaí packets into pieces. Add to a blender with frozen banana, berries, and juice.
- 2
Blend on low, using the tamper. Keep it as thick as possible — add liquid 1 tablespoon at a time.
- 3
Scoop into bowls. Top with granola, fresh berries, banana, coconut, and honey.
- 4
Eat immediately — açaí bowls melt quickly!
