Flaky golden pastry encasing a creamy filling of chicken, peas, carrots, and herbs.

Ingredients

  • 400 g cooked chicken, shredded
  • 200 g frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 300 ml chicken broth
  • 150 ml heavy cream
  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour

Instructions

    Make roux: melt butter, whisk in flour, add broth and cream until thick.

    Fold in chicken, peas, carrots, and onion. Season well.

    Pour filling into pie dish, top with puff pastry. Brush with egg wash.

    Bake at 200°C for 25-30 minutes until pastry is golden.
