Tender marinated chicken in a rich, creamy tomato-spiced sauce. The ultimate comfort curry that's become Britain's unofficial national dish.

Ingredients

  • 600 g chicken thighs, cubed
  • 200 ml yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tikka masala paste
  • 400 g canned tomatoes
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

    Marinate chicken in yogurt and tikka paste for at least 1 hour.

    Grill or pan-fry chicken until charred edges form. Set aside.

    Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until golden.

    Add spices, cook 1 minute, then add tomatoes. Simmer 15 minutes.
