Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 0.75 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1.5 lbs fresh strawberries
- 1 packet red cake glaze (Tortenguss)
- 1 cup water + 2 tbsp sugar (for glaze)
Instructions

Beat eggs and sugar until thick. Fold in flour and baking powder. Pour into a 26cm springform.

Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes. Cool completely.

Arrange strawberries on top (halved, cut side down).

Prepare Tortenguss per package. Pour over strawberries. Chill until set.
