Ring-shaped sponge cake filled and frosted with German buttercream, coated in crunchy praline (Krokant).

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1.5 cups butter (buttercream)
  • 1 cup praline (Krokant)

Instructions

    Bake sponge in ring pan at 175°C for 35 minutes.

    Make buttercream. Slice cake into 3 layers, fill and frost.

    Press Krokant on sides. Decorate with glacé cherries.
