- 1.5 cups long grain rice, rinsed
- 1.5 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
