Fluffy potato dumplings — the perfect side for roasts, Sauerbraten, and gravy-heavy German main dishes.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs starchy potatoes
  • 1 cup potato starch
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

    Boil potatoes in their skins until tender. Peel while hot and rice them.

    Mix riced potatoes with starch, egg, nutmeg, and salt. Form into balls.
