A German twist on the brunch classic — eggs poached in a spiced tomato sauce with crumbled bratwurst and pretzel bread for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 2 bratwurst sausages, casings removed
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp caraway seeds

Instructions

    Crumble bratwurst meat into a skillet. Brown over medium heat.

    Add onion and pepper, cook 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, paprika, and caraway. Simmer 10 minutes.
