Homemade Spätzle (German Egg Noodles)

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 cup water
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions

Mix flour, eggs, salt, water, and nutmeg into a thick, sticky batter. Beat vigorously until bubbles form.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Press batter through a Spätzle press or colander into the boiling water.

Cook for 2-3 minutes until they float to the surface. Remove with a slotted spoon.

Toss with melted butter and serve immediately.
