This honey garlic salmon is restaurant-quality and takes 20 minutes. The trick is searing skin-side down in a screaming hot pan to get crispy skin, then finishing with a sticky glaze.

The glaze caramelizes into a glistening coat of honey, garlic, soy, and a squeeze of lime.

Serve over rice with steamed broccoli for a complete dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon (6 oz each, skin-on)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 whole lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and lime juice.

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. 3

Sear salmon skin-side down for 4 minutes until crispy.

  4. 4

Flip and cook 2 minutes. Pour glaze into the pan.

  5. 5

Spoon glaze over salmon as it thickens, about 2-3 more minutes. Serve immediately.
