Marry Me Chicken went viral for a reason — it's a skillet of golden seared chicken swimming in a creamy garlic sauce with sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, and Parmesan.

The sauce comes together in the same pan. Deglaze the chicken fond with broth, add cream, and let it reduce to a thick, spoonable consistency.

Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or with crusty bread to soak up every drop.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts, pounded thin
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, torn
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear in olive oil until golden, 4 minutes per side. Remove.

  2. 2

In the same pan, sauté garlic 30 seconds. Add broth, scraping up the fond.

  3. 3

Stir in cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened.

  4. 4

Return chicken to the sauce. Spoon sauce over the top.

  5. 5

Simmer 5-8 minutes until chicken is cooked through. Top with fresh basil.
